Luca Nardi’s remarkable journey at the ATP 500 Dubai continues. After entering the main draw as a lucky loser, the young Italian has made the most of his second chance, reaching the quarter-finals—his best result so far at an ATP Tour event.

Following his first-round victory over Marton Fucsovics, who had previously defeated him in the qualifiers, Nardi kept his momentum going by beating Zizou Bergs, ranked 56th in the world. In a match lasting one hour and 42 minutes, the Italian secured a 6-4, 7-6(3) win, showing composure and resilience in the key moments.

In the quarter-finals, Nardi will face Quentin Halys, winner of the match against Roberto Bautista Agut.
