Marcus Rashford is starting a new chapter at Barcelona. The Catalan club has reached an agreement with Manchester United for the player’s loan until 30 June 2026, with an option to make the move permanent. “I’ve made the right decision, and I can’t wait to play my first match in front of the fans,” said the English forward during his introductory press conference. "Things happen when they’re meant to, and this was the right time. I’m ready to give everything"
Reflecting on his time at Manchester United, Rashford commented: "The club is going through a period of change. I’ve got nothing negative to say. It was a huge part of my life and my career, and I’m extremely grateful to have played for them".
On his new adventure in Spain, he added: "Many of the players have impressed me. They’re so young, but they play with real quality. Flick is doing a great job, especially considering what he achieved last season. Since I arrived, I’ve noticed that last year is in the past. Everyone is focused on improving. The ambition is high, there’s a real hunger to win, and I can’t wait to be part of it".
