Fifth consecutive victory for the Bundesliga leaders, while the Blaugrana stumble in La Liga, allowing the Blancos to close in

Kompany's Bayern defeated Augsburg 3-0, driven by a hat-trick from Harry Kane, who further solidifies his position as the Bundesliga's top scorer with 14 goals. Eintracht Frankfurt stays in the race, narrowly beating Werder Bremen thanks to former Bayern star Mario Götze.

Leipzig falls in a dramatic 4-3 loss to Hoffenheim. Bayer Leverkusen stages an incredible comeback, overturning a 2-0 deficit against Heidenheim to win 5-2 at the BayArena, thanks to a hat-trick by Patrick Schick. Ahead of the much-anticipated Der Klassiker against Bayern, Borussia Dortmund rebounds strongly, demolishing Freiburg 4-0 at Signal Iduna Park.

Meanwhile, in Ligue 1, there's little to report aside from Lyon (6th place). The league's top seven teams all secured wins. PSG claimed their fifth consecutive victory with a 3-0 win over Toulouse, allowing Luis Enrique’s side to maintain a comfortable lead over their pursuers.

The chasing pack kept up: Monaco secured a 3-2 away victory over Brest; Marseille under De Zerbi triumphed 3-1 away at Lens. Narrow wins came for Lille (1-0 against Rennes), Nice (2-1 over Strasbourg), and Auxerre (1-0 against Angers).

In Spain, however, Barcelona risks squandering their lead over Real Madrid, built after their Clasico victory. What was a nine-point gap has shrunk to just four, with the Blancos still to play their postponed match against Valencia.

Barcelona led 2-0 in Vigo against Celta until the final 10 minutes, only to see the hosts stage a comeback and settle for a 2-2 draw. Real Madrid made no mistakes, with goals from Mbappé, Bellingham, and Valverde sealing a 3-0 away win over Leganés. The only bad news for Ancelotti is Vinicius’ injury, sidelining him for a month due to a hamstring tear.

Atletico Madrid also delivered, coming from behind to beat Alaves 2-1 at home, consolidating their third-place position, helped further by the draw between Villarreal and Osasuna.

The draw did little for Osasuna, as they were overtaken in the standings by Athletic Bilbao. Bilbao, led by Sancet, secured the Basque derby against Real Sociedad and climbed to 5th place, leaving their historic rivals languishing in 10th place.
