Galatasaray are stepping up their pursuit of Victor Osimhen. The Turkish giants are determined to land the Nigerian striker, with the club’s vice-president, Abdullah Kavucku, arriving in Italy in recent hours to personally oversee negotiations and secure Napoli’s approval for a deal that would see Osimhen return to the Super Lig.
The club has increased its offer from an initial €60 million to €75 million, matching the release clause in Osimhen’s contract with Napoli. However, Galatasaray are proposing to pay the fee in five instalments rather than as a single upfront payment, leaving it to Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis to decide whether to accept this structure or continue to insist on the full payment immediately.
Osimhen has already indicated his willingness to join Galatasaray. Now, the ball is in Napoli’s court to decide whether to greenlight the move on the proposed terms. A decision from De Laurentiis is awaited, but the Nigerian striker has made his intentions clear.
