High anticipation for Juventus vs. Milan, with Mediaset broadcasting the event to 160 countries. Featuring a special golden Puma ball on the field

The Final Four of the Italian Super Cup are set to take center stage in the exclusive setting of Riad. The four competing teams – Inter, Milan, Atalanta, and Juventus – have all arrived in the Saudi capital, ready to battle for the first trophy of 2025. Inter was the first to land on Tuesday, followed yesterday by Milan, Atalanta, and Juventus, who welcomed the New Year in Riad, a city adorned with banners celebrating the event.

The Italian Super Cup, now in its second year under a four-year agreement between Serie A and the Saudi Ministry of Sports, is generating widespread excitement. Juventus vs. Milan, the highlight of the semifinals, has already sold out at Al-Awwal Park, a 25,000-seat stadium that also serves as the home of Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr.

The semifinals will be played on January 2 and 3. Inter will face Atalanta in the opening match, scheduled for 8:00 PM CET (10:00 PM local time), followed by Juventus vs. Milan on Friday at the same time. The winners will meet in the final on January 6, while the losing teams will return to Italy immediately. Mediaset will exclusively broadcast the entire event, including press conferences with coaches and players, with high-quality coverage reaching over 160 countries.

One unique aspect of the event is the official match ball: a special golden edition of the Puma Orbita, designed to lend prestige to the competition. Goals scored with these balls will be auctioned in collaboration with Socios.com, allowing fans to participate via a QR code displayed on screens. Additionally, EA Sports, the title sponsor of the Super Cup, will present the “EA Sports Player of the Match” award to the top performer in each game.

Off the field, there will be special events, including a welcome dinner tonight hosted by the Saudi Ministry of Sports, attended by Serie A executives and representatives from all four clubs. The event will be graced by legendary figures of Italian football, such as Del Piero, Pirlo, Materazzi, Vieri, and many more.

Serie A’s organizational skills have been on full display, ensuring the timely arrival of Milan’s new head coach, Sergio Conceição, and his staff, who received their visas just in time to join the team in Riad.
