Cristiano Giuntoli's time at Juventus has come to an end after just one season. The club made the announcement through an official statement released across its platforms.
"Juventus Football Club S.p.A. (“Juventus” or the “Club”) announces that it has reached a mutual agreement with Cristiano Giuntoli for the termination, effective immediately, of his contract as sporting director. The decision was taken following a joint assessment regarding future plans and mutual needs. The club also confirms that Francesco Calvo has submitted his resignation, effective June 16, 2025, from his role as Managing Director Revenue & Institutional Relations, in order to pursue a new professional opportunity."
The departure of Giuntoli, who had been brought in with high expectations, marks a turning point in Juventus' sporting project. The new era will feature two key figures at the helm of the technical and sporting area: Damien Comolli, former Toulouse executive, and Giorgio Chiellini, who is set to return to the club in a new leadership role.
