San Siro is filling up more than ever. The opening phase of AC Milan’s season ticket campaign has closed with 30,000 subscriptions: these include 2024–25 season ticket holders who have confirmed their seats, as well as fans on the waiting list. A year ago the total reached 40,000, and the club is aiming to hit that figure again in the coming hours as tickets go on general sale. The first Coppa Italia match is just over 20 days away. Supporters have responded even in a season without European football, with the sale of Reijnders marking the start of the transfer market and hundreds of renewal requests in the curva rejected by the club – following Inter’s lead in the wake of the Milan Prosecutor’s investigation.
The numbers tell the story: according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, over 80% of long-standing fans (those who have held a season ticket for at least five seasons) have renewed. Massimiliano Allegri’s new technical project has boosted Rossoneri optimism. And that’s not all – there’s also the Luka Modric effect: on the day the Ballon d’Or winner’s arrival was announced, 1,500 season tickets were snapped up in just 24 hours.
