MotoGP continues to be a Marquez affair. In Argentina, Marc and Alex Marquez claim yet another one-two finish, confirming their stranglehold on the championship. Marc takes the victory after an intense battle with his brother, while Franco Morbidelli delivers a surprise performance, securing third place ahead of Pecco Bagnaia, who struggles once again to find his rhythm this season.
Marc took charge from the green light, but Bagnaia attempted to disrupt the Marquez dominance, only to get caught up in a scrap with Zarco. Alex seized the lead after four laps, stretching his advantage, while Morbidelli capitalized on the situation and moved up to third. Meanwhile, Bezzecchi’s race ended almost immediately after a costly mistake at the first corner sent him into the gravel.
At the midway point, Marc launched his first attack on Alex but overshot the corner, delaying the inevitable. The Marquez brothers built an unassailable gap of over eight seconds to the rest of the field, while further back, Di Giannantonio fought his way past Binder, and Morbidelli defended his position from Bagnaia.
With five laps to go, the decisive moment arrived: Marc pulled off a stunning late braking maneuver on the main straight, reclaiming the lead and sealing his fourth straight win across Grand Prix and sprint races. Morbidelli celebrated a long-awaited return to the podium, while Bagnaia had to settle for fourth.
Ducati’s dominance remains unchallenged, with five of their bikes finishing at the top—another statement of superiority from the Italian manufacturer.
