Nick Woltemade has informed Stuttgart that his sole desire is to join Bayern Munich. In parallel, the Bavarian giants have reportedly reached a verbal agreement with the forward on a deal running until 2030. However, Woltemade is under contract with Stuttgart until 2028 and has no release clause, making his transfer fee a major hurdle for Bayern.
Alexander Wehrle, Stuttgart’s president, has reiterated the club’s determination to keep the talented attacker for the coming years. Meanwhile, Bayern are preparing a bid in the region of €50–60 million, having received the green light from the board to proceed with an official offer.
The deal, however, will only gather pace starting next week, now that the UEFA Under-21 Euros have concluded.
