Al Nassr have officially announced the end of their collaboration with head coach Stefano Pioli and his staff. “Al Nassr Club informs that Mr. Pioli and his staff are no longer part of the first team’s technical management. We would like to thank Mr. Pioli and his staff for their dedication and hard work throughout last season,” reads the club’s official statement.
Pioli is now closing in on a return to Fiorentina, a club he previously managed until 2019. While he had also been linked with the Italian national team job, the experienced coach has chosen to rejoin the Viola project. Only final details remain to be ironed out before the official announcement.
