The CIES Football Observatory has revealed that six of the ten clubs with the highest squad value worldwide are from the Premier League. In the global ranking, Real Madrid holds the top spot, while the highest-ranked Italian teams, Inter and AC Milan, sit in 13th and 14th place with squad values of €800 million and €762 million, respectively.
The player with the highest market value is Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham, who is estimated to be worth between €217 and €274 million, thanks to his contract running until 2029.
Six English teams feature prominently at the top of the list. Manchester City ranks as the second richest club globally, with a total squad value of €1.471 billion spread across 39 players (average €37.7 million per player). They are followed by Chelsea (3rd with €1.388 billion for 54 players, average €25.7 million), Arsenal (4th with €1.225 billion for 34 players, average €36 million), Liverpool (6th with €1.099 billion for 34 players, average €32.3 million), Manchester United (8th with €989 million for 32 players, average €30.9 million), and Tottenham (9th with €886 million for 38 players, average €23.3 million).
Real Madrid, with a squad value of €1.728 billion and 34 players, is confirmed as the richest club in the world, with Bellingham standing out as their most valuable asset. The top ten is rounded off by Barcelona (5th with €1.124 billion for 40 players), PSG (7th with €1.088 billion for 36 players), and Bayer Leverkusen (10th with €862 million for 27 players).
The best-positioned Italian teams are Inter, 13th with €800 million for 41 players (average €19.5 million), and AC Milan, 14th with €762 million for 47 players (average €16.2 million). Juventus ranks 17th with €697 million (average €15.1 million), followed by Napoli in 20th place with €598 million (average €15.3 million), Atalanta 21st with €586 million (average €11.5 million), and Roma 29th with €449 million (average €12.8 million).
Among Serie A players, the most valuable is Inter striker Lautaro Martinez, valued between €95 million and €120 million. Following him are AC Milan’s Rafael Leao (€69-88 million), Napoli’s Kvaratskhelia (€67-84 million), Atalanta’s Scalvini (€61-78 million), Roma’s Dovbyk (€56-73 million), Juventus’ Yildiz (€52-66 million), Fiorentina’s Beltran (€34-49 million), and Lazio’s Guendouzi (€34-48 million).
