Gasperini’s team defeats Milan and climbs to the top of the standings. The reigning Italian champions beat Parma at San Siro

Another Serie A weekend concludes with significant outcomes. The first is that Atalanta continues its impressive run and is firmly in the Scudetto race. Gasperini's team won another crucial match, defeating Milan 2-1 with goals from De Ketelaere and a decisive strike from Lookman. Morata's goal wasn’t enough for the Rossoneri. Fonseca’s side now trails the Bergamo club by 12 points and is nine points behind the fourth spot.

Thiago Motta's Juventus is also struggling. The Bianconeri managed to come back against Bologna at the Stadium but had to settle for another draw. Koopmeiners and Mbangula scored late to cancel out goals from Ndoye and Pobega. The 2-2 home draw marked Juventus' fourth consecutive stalemate in Serie A and the Champions League, leaving them seven points behind Atalanta and four points off the fourth place.

Only Inter managed to keep pace with Atalanta at the top of the standings. The Nerazzurri comfortably beat Parma 3-1 at San Siro, thanks to goals from Dimarco, Barella, and Thuram. Parma's consolation goal came from a Darmian own-goal.

Other Saturday fixtures included Genoa-Torino ending in a goalless draw and Roma's 4-1 triumph over Lecce. The Giallorossi returned to winning ways with goals from Saelemaekers, Mancini, Pisilli, and Kone. Ranieri's team climbed to 11th place with 16 points.

Palladino's Fiorentina also continued their winning streak. Cataldi's goal secured a 1-0 win over Cagliari, keeping the Viola in the Champions League race, just three points behind leaders Atalanta. Empoli thrashed Verona 4-0, while Venezia and Como played out an entertaining 2-2 draw, with both sides remaining deep in the relegation zone.
