The round begins with the derby at Orogel Stadium. Juve Stabia hosts Palermo on Saturday, and Pippo Inzaghi faces his past on Sunday

The Serie B championship resumes with a bang. Opening the round are Cesena and Modena, who face off on Friday evening at Orogel Stadium in the Emilia-Romagna derby (kick-off at 8:30 PM). Both teams are coming off losses in the last round, to Spezia and Cittadella respectively, and will be looking to climb the standings: the home team, led by former coach Michele Mignani, sits two points ahead of Pierpaolo Bisoli’s side, another former coach involved in the match.

Five matches are scheduled for Saturday afternoon (kick-off at 3:00 PM), featuring two of the three current league leaders. The highlight match is set at Stadio Zini, where Cremonese, struggling with a mixed start to the season (2 draws and 2 losses), will face the surprising Spezia, led by Luca D’Angelo, unbeaten and sitting at the top with two wins and two draws. Juve Stabia, sharing the top spot, hosts Palermo at the Romeo Menti.

Another intriguing clash will be at Rigamonti, between Brescia and Frosinone; Cittadella hosts Catanzaro, while Bari is still searching for its first win of the season against Mantova, coached by Possanzini. However, it won’t be easy for Bari to beat the Virgilians, who seem to have adapted well to the new category, unlike Carrarese (3 losses in the first 4 matches), who will host Sassuolo on Sunday, coached by Fabio Grosso, reeling from a heavy 4-1 defeat to Cremonese in the last round.

Sunday's Serie B schedule also includes the match at Arechi, where Salernitana faces Pisa, led by former star Pippo Inzaghi. Reggiana (4th with 7 points) hosts Sudtirol, and Cosenza will take on Sampdoria, who are desperately seeking a victory to end their crisis.
