The league leaders regain their form against Cesena, Spezia wins narrowly, Juve Stabia pulls off a shock in Genoa, and Sassuolo scores 6

After suffering their first loss of the season in Castellammare di Stabia, Filippo Inzaghi's Pisa bounced back with a 3-0 home victory over Cesena, maintaining their lead in the standings over Spezia, who defeated Reggiana 1-0 to stay 3 points behind.

A dominant Sassuolo humiliated Cittadella 6-1 at the Mapei Stadium, welcoming back Domenico Berardi after his injury. Juve Stabia, the giant-killer, followed up their win over Pisa with another comeback victory in Genoa against Sampdoria, thanks to a brace from Adorante.

Brescia and Cremonese slowed down with 1-1 draws, the former in the Lombard derby against Mantova away, and the latter at home against Bari. Sudtirol claimed a crucial 2-0 win over Cosenza away, climbing to 6th place between Cremonese and Brescia.

Frosinone seemed to be back on track after last weekend’s win at Cittadella, but they suffered their fourth loss of the season, falling 1-0 to Carrarese at the Stirpe. Modena almost secured a victory against Catanzaro, but the hosts equalized late with a goal from La Mantia (2-2).

Salernitana's good form continued as they won 1-0 at Palermo’s Barbera Stadium, securing their third positive result in a row and tying Palermo at 11 points, both in 7th place.
