The Italian star will resume in Rome before heading to Germany, keeping a relentless pace through May and June

Jannik Sinner has mapped out his return to competition: after playing the Internazionali d’Italia, the world No. 1 will make his Hamburg Open debut in late May, adding another key stop before Roland Garros. The German tournament, featuring top players like Andrey Rublev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Holger Rune, will serve as his final tune-up before Paris.

Following his return to action, Sinner’s schedule will be intense: from May 5 to 18, he’ll compete in Rome, then head to Hamburg until May 24 before immediately shifting focus to Roland Garros, aiming to go all the way to the final on June 8.

"I’m really excited to play in Hamburg for the first time, a tournament with great history in our sport," Sinner said, praising the electric atmosphere created by the fans. Tournament director Enric Molina Mur called Sinner’s participation "a historic moment," noting that he will be the first world No. 1 to play in Hamburg since Roger Federer in 2008.
