Igor Tudor is making it clear: he’s not just filling a gap. “I never saw myself as a stopgap, even when I signed for just nine games. I knew I’d stay if I delivered”, said the Croatian manager, now officially renewed as Juventus head coach until 2027.
Having led the Bianconeri back into the Champions League, Tudor is focused on continuity rather than rebuilding. “We’re not starting over—we’re continuing. The squad is nearly unchanged. Rugani and Kostić are back, but little else has changed.” His attention now turns to the upcoming Club World Cup debut against Al-Ain: “It’s a new competition for everyone. We’ll take it one day at a time and be ready”.
The summer transfer market will be key. “With three targeted reinforcements, we can compete on all fronts. Bremer and Cabal are coming back, and with the right additions, we can achieve great things”.
Tudor also highlighted the growth of the group he’s helped shape: “When I arrived, the team felt empty. Now there’s enthusiasm and hunger. President Elkann’s visit to Continassa gave us an extra push—his presence was meaningful for everyone”.
Asked about his vision for Juventus, Tudor is direct: “I’m someone who always wants to win. I’m not interested in finishing second. Juventus must aim for everything—that mentality must never change”.
