Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic book their spots in the third round at Wimbledon, while Tommy Paul and Jack Draper suffer early exits

The fourth day of Wimbledon wrapped up with four Italian players advancing. World No. 1 Jannik Sinner breezed past Australia’s Aleksandar Vukic with a dominant 6-1, 6-1, 6-3 victory. Lorenzo Sonego also moved on, defeating Georgia’s Nikoloz Basilashvili, while Flavio Cobolli comfortably handled Britain’s Jack Pinnington Jones, and Luciano Darderi overcame Arthur Fery to reach the next round.

There were no issues for Novak Djokovic, who dismantled Britain’s Daniel Evans in straight sets 6-3, 6-2, 6-0 to continue his quest for another Wimbledon title.

However, two notable names crashed out: 13th seed and world No. 13 Tommy Paul fell to Austria’s Sebastian Ofner, while home favourite Jack Draper was ousted by Croatia’s Marin Cilic.

Elsewhere, Grigor Dimitrov (19th seed) defeated France’s Corentin Moutet, while Spain’s Pedro Martinez edged out Argentina’s Mariano Navone in a tight battle, 7-5, 7-5, 7-6(6), after three hours and 18 minutes on court.

In the women’s draw, Iga Swiatek, Barbora Krejcikova, Emma Navarro, and Elena Rybakina all advanced, continuing their strong starts at the All England Club.
